This website is operated by Richard Wilshire
Throughout the Site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Richard Wilshire.

2. The artwork

All artworks are original pieces created by Richard Wilshire, unless otherwise stated.

Purchased artworks come with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.

Each work is described and photographed as accurately as possible. However, colours and textures may vary slightly depending on your screen or device.

Unless mentioned in the listing, artworks come framed and ready to hang.

Dimensions are provided in good faith; please check details carefully before purchase.

3. Orders

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase an artwork.

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order for any reason, including pricing errors or suspected fraud.

Once your order is accepted, you will receive a confirmation email.

4. Pricing and payment

All prices are listed in GBP and are not subject to VAT (Value Added Tax)

Payment is taken at the time of purchase via secure third-party providers (e.g. Stripe, PayPal, or Squarespace Payments).

We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect confirmed orders.

5. Shipping and delivery

We aim to dispatch artworks within 3-5 working days.

Delivery times may vary depending on your location and the shipping method used.

You are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address is correct at the time of order.

For international orders, you will be responsible for customs duties or import taxes.

6. Returns and cancellations

We offer a 14-day return period, meaning you have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

To be eligible, the artwork must be returned in the same condition in which it was received—undamaged, unaltered, and in its original packaging. Proof of purchase is also required. Please note that commissioned artworks are non-returnable.

If your return is approved, we will provide instructions on how and where to send the item. Please note that returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

Buyers are responsible for the cost of return shipping, as well as appropriate packaging and any associated fees.

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days of receiving the returned item.

7. Damaged or faulty items

If your artwork arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the issue. You should contact hello@richardwilshire.com to discuss a refund or exchange.

We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate.

8. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including images of artworks, text, and design, is the intellectual property of Richard Wilshire

Purchasing an artwork does not transfer copyright.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any images or content without prior written permission.

9. Use of the Site

You agree not to:

• use the Site for unlawful purposes

• attempt to interfere with its functionality or security

• reproduce or exploit any part of the Site without permission

10. Liability

We aim to ensure that all information on the Site is accurate, but we do not guarantee that it is free from errors.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• indirect or consequential losses

• delays or failures outside our control

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under UK law.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
